You don’t need a nice fly fishing hat, or fancy vest with ten dozen pockets, and all kinds of hidden compartments. But you certainly want to make sure you have a rod. Bamboo, split cane, or graphite it doesn’t matter. But if you don’t have something to catch your fish with, you won’t catch any. Some other supplies you will need are your basic fly fishing gear and equipment, but depending on your trip you may need other types of supplies. Waders, boat or maybe even a tent.

You can go to your local fly fishing and sport shop and talk to someone there who can help you figure out what kind of supplies for fly fishing you will need. It is important to find out what kind of supplies for fly fishing you will need. Not only to insure that you have fun and make the most of your trip, but to make sure you are safe and have all you will need for whatever may occur.
