Catch Trophy Calico Bass in Eastern Connecticut: A Fishing Guide
In Connecticut, it is possible to catch trophy calico bass on a somewhat regular basis, if you know where to fish. Most anglers would keep such a spot a secret, but I am inclined to share it since this spot is so lightly fished, and most of the people I know catch and release the calicos they catch there. The place is Moosup Pond, in northern Plainfield in the eastern half of the state.
